DESIGN LEADER.
Responsible for the craft of design and the quality of the products that we ship. I ensure team health and effectiveness. As a member of the leadership team, I am responsible for planning, recruiting, scaling, and reporting on the health of our teams and building meaningful connections between our entirely remote teams.
- Cultivated human-centered design excellence through storytelling, research, and craft.
- Looked after a diverse and talented group of 20+ designers across UI, UX, research, and content strategy.
- Led design operations: including levels, pay bands, and growth opportunities.
- Contributed to multiple products in both design and engineering contexts. I jump in when appropriate to make decisions, unblock teams or create momentum on important projects.
- Recruited and managed design directors (managers) responsible for their teams' day-to-day output, reporting, and collaborating with client stakeholders to ensure the delivery of our products.
- Led internal brand and marketing efforts with the support of design directors.
