MGM Resorts is committed to delivering exceptional digital experiences that go above and beyond their guests' expectations. To achieve this, they enlisted the help of Superformula to rebuild the next iteration of their successful mobile app.
Goals
One app, one team
One of our mail goals was to replace our Android and iOS teams with a single new Dart/Flutter team to speed up delivery time and modernize the software delivery patterns at MGM Resorts.
Feature parity
Despite the relatively low number of daily active users of the app (less than 20,000), those who did use it relied heavily on these features while on property.
Future proofed
The product teams responsible for booking, discovery, and check-in were developing critical new features and workflows that we would soon need to accommodate.

- Migrating iOS and Android applications to Flutter
- Developing comprehensive product design specifications
- Implementing personalized animations
- Documenting and expanding global design system
- Preparing educational materials for hotel staff
- Implementing automated quality assurance processes
- Coordinating product development efforts
- Preparing app store resources
- Implementing analytics monitoring
- Partnering with third-party companies to integrate their SDKs into Flutter.
